Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Protein Bars

1 cup  Shaklee Instant Protein Soy Mix (#20661)
1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats – uncooked
2 T  Ground flaxseed (for variation use wheat germ)
1 cup Organic Brown Rice Cacao Crisps
1/3 cup Honey
1 cup Peanut Butter
2 1/2 tsp Vanilla
2/3 cup Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup raisins

Combine oats, protein rice and flaxseed in large bowl.  Set aside. Bring honey to a boil on stovetop.  Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth. Immediately add honey mixture to dry mixture until well incorporated. Stir/knead in mini choc chips and raisins.

Press mixture into 8 X 8 square pan. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until firm.

Cut into 12 bars or smaller bite-size squares and serve. Store bars in airtight container in fridge.


  1. Use 1 cup of Energizing Soy (vanilla or chocolate) or Shaklee Life Shake powder (vanilla or chocolate) in place of Instant Protein Soy Mix, but reduce the honey to 1/4 cup.
  2.  If you like nuts, add 1/3 cup of your favorite chopped nuts in addition to the raisins.

  4. For a smoother textured bar, buzz oat flakes in blender to refine oatmeal into a flour-like consistency
